  8.                     FASTBOARD/386 WITH RAM PARITY ERRORS

  11. PROBLEM:       Certain three chip configuration 1MB SIMM modules for the
  12.                FastBoard/386 cause ram parity errors when used.
  13.  
  14. CAUSE:         Incompatibility between the three chip 1MB SIMM configuration
  15.                and the FastBoard/386.
  16.  
  17. SYSTEMS
  18. AFFECTED:      FastBoard/386 boards with the following part numbers:
  19.  
  20.                     202196-001 or 202323-001
  21.  
  22. SOLUTION:      To resolve this problem use the nine chip configuration 1MB
  23.                SIMM modules.
